The first step to voting in this year’s elections is registering to vote. Wisconsin allows same-day registration for in-person voting. You may also register via mail or online up to 20 days prior to an election. Learn more on voter registration here.

July 22, 2026 - Deadline for voters to use mail or internet submissions to register for participation in the Partisan Primary.
August 11, 2026 - Partisan Primary Election Day
September 17, 2026 - Deadline for municipal clerks to send absentee ballots with valid requests on file for the General Election.
October 14, 2026 - Deadline to register to vote by mail or online
October 20 - October 30th, 2026 - Early in-person absentee voting for the fall General Election. PHOTO ID is required.
November 3, 2026 - VOTE 7 AM - 8 PM, CST in the Fall General Election
